About Page

Project Goal: The company’s previous About Us page was 2 or 3 sentences long. It was a high-level overview of what the company provided. That’s it. My job was to describe who the company was, what they did for their customers, and what their beliefs were…all while making it about the potential customer and not about the company.

My Work: I created short sections of copy that quickly, yet efficiently, described who the company was and how they could benefit their target audience. Often, plan sponsors (in the retirement industry) are concerned about the amount of work they’ll need to do in order for a retirement plan to operate effectively. That’s why I included a section about each department’s role in making the plan sponsor’s job easier.

The completed About page included a section on What We Believe, Meet Out Team, Leadership, and Our History (in order of importance to the viewer).
